The Works Canteen, 1a Badcox, Weymouth Road, Frome: http://www.theworkscanteen.co.uk/

This is the 20 mile afternoon ride that can be ridden on its own, or joined up with the morning ride to make a 40 mile figure of 8 loop centred around the Works Canteen in Frome. There is an opportunity to have lunch/cake beforehand and cake after the ride too at The Works Canteen: http://www.theworkscanteen.co.uk/ This afternoon ride includes slightly larger country roads, as well as some small lanes:  Frome to Nunney, Trudoxhill, Yarnfield, Maiden Bradley, Horningsham, Longleat, East Woodlands, Feltham, Frome. This ride will give you the opportunity to tackle Gare Hill plus a couple of lovely descents too. This ride is aimed at women who are already doing some cycling but would like to try a longer ride. It is suitable for all types of bikes with gears. The pace will be a steady 10 -12 mph but NO-ONE will be left behind. This ride is designed to be a social ride & is unsuitable for those wanting a fast ride with no stops. Please ensure that your bike is in a roadworthy condition & that you have a correct size, spare inner tube just in case of a puncture.  Please bring a drink, snack, mobile phone, some money & a waterproof. A helmet is not compulsory but I would prefer it if you wore one please. If you wish to ride the complete figure of 8 loop, please sign up for both the morning & afternoon rides.
