About the route
Starting point
Parking is at SE515859 a small car park at the junction to Wethercote Lane and Cleveland Road, north of Cold Kirby.
This is a non-technical OFF-ROAD ride, using bridelways across moorland and forest and farmland tracks with a stop at High Paradise Farm for a warming drink. If using a hybrid bike please make sure you have good, grip tyres as part of the route may be muddy. Hopefully we won't get too muddy and wet. Please be ready to ride at 10am as it can get a bit chilly standing around. Also,make sure you have spare inner-tubes and suitable clothing, plus money for a drink. This is a social ride at a leisurely pace with time to enjoy the wonderful views (providing it is not foggy). If you haven't tried off-road riding before then this is an ideal route - do join us.
