Join us on an easygoing ride along cycle paths by the River Rea to Cannon Hill Park, then along the Bristol Road cycle path to the University. We will cycle back along the towpath and back onto the river Rea cyclepath to the start.
This is the perfect ride for anybody wanting to try cycling or to get back into Cycling after some time away. We will ride at the pace of the slowest rider, and will enjoy the sights along the route including signs of early spring. We will have chance to chat as we enjoy our leisurely ride through the suburbs. No one gets left behind.
We are experienced ride leaders and love to share our enthusiasm for cycling and our knowledge of routes around the city.
This ride is part of British Cycling’s Ride Through Winter campaign and if you sign up, you will be entered into a prize draw. More details available on the ride.
Please wear a helmet and gloves, bring a drink and a snack, and please make sure your bike is roadworthy with tyres pumped up and chain oiled.
Please message me if you would like to know any more about the ride.
