About the route
We will meet in the courtyard outside the café at the Ashton Court mansion at 11 for an 11.10 prompt start. We'll head out through Long Ashton, cross over the A38 and head on fairly quiet roads to Winford and Chew. There are climbs back up to Whitchurch and then it's a gentle downhill back to the city centre (we won't return to Ashton Court unless anyone needs to get back there and isn't sure of the way).
There's no café stop on the ride so bring drinks and snacks.
Helmet please and puncture repair stuff.
This is a fairly quick road bike ride. We will aim for 12-14 mph (20-23km/h) and is really only suitable for those with road bikes and a good degree of cycling confidence. Do get in touch if you have any questions about ride suitability.
