Breeze Ride to 'Another Place'

This is a leisurely mostly flat ride and will take along the Liverpool Waterfront via Princes Parade past the Liverpool Cruise Terminal and out onto Waterloo Road, from there we will enter the Eldonian Estate and then access the towpath for the Leeds-Liverpool Canal. Once we reach Crosby we will ride down South Road and onto the waterfront to the stretch of Crosby Beach which houses the Antony Gormley sculptures. The sculptures form 'Another Place' which consists of 100 cast-iron, life size figures spread along three kilometres of the foreshore, stretching almost one kilometre out to sea. We can take the opportunity to get a coffee, before heading back to Liverpool by the same route. if you are joining us from the Wirral, the first ferry on a Saturday leaves Seacombe at 10:20 arriving at the Pier Head at 10:50. the closets train station would be James Street. Can we please meet in front of the Mersey ferry terminal at 10:50, this gives us time to sign in make our bike checks and start the ride at 11:00 as advertised.
