Lower Rexton Farm, Broadwoodwidger, Lifton

This is a lovely 17 mile spin (well you asked for it and you have diligently done 12+ twice) around the Widger lanes and Roadford Reservoir.  It's all on the roads but the traffic is generally low volume.  And there are geese, and hills and cows and sheep and pirates.  (Actually there are no pirates but I just wondered how many people read these things). Seriously though, there are hills.  This isn't a beginners ride,  You need to have cycled with me before or be able to convince me that you are a fittie able to take 12+ miles in your stride.  The pace will be steady because we have mixed bikes in the group.   We will go past Witherdon Woods and we will stop for an icecream or cake and coffee at the reservoir shop if time permits.  We will stop to take photos at the top of all the hills - ostensibly to get breath back.  If you are worried about the distance, imagine all the wildfowl on the reservoir getting ready for their intercontinental commute!   Make sure you bring a water bottle - this ride will take longer than an hour.
