Breeze Ride, ladies only - Ride The Dragon

A lovely country route out from Newport to Ellerdine to celebrate St Georges Day. This will be a steady ride along mainly country lanes. With a stop at The Oakgate garden centre tearoom, where we will take a refreshment stop and enjoy homemade cakes and tea, so please bring some money with you. The ride will be approximately 25 miles but at a leisurely pace, so don't be put off by the 'Challenging' status, this is a default on the system due to the distance not the difficulty of this ride. You will be led and guided by experienced Breeze ride champions to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable ride. All participants should wear a cycle helmet and ensure they have a roadworthy bike and wear appropriate clothing, so keep an eye on the weather forecast, you might need a rain jacket, or sun cream !! And as an added extra...... There will be a free 30 min Coaching session before the start of this ride to help you gain valuable bike handling skills and confidence for your ride, please ensure you arrive ready to start at 1pm at the Playground behind the music block to the right side of the school when you arrive. If you just want to take part in the ride that's OK too , we will meet at the front of the school at 1.30pm.
