The route starts at the University of Liverpool at University Square opposite the Red brick Victorian building, going through the Georgian Quarter, past the Anglican Cathedral. From there crossing over to go past Cain's Brewery and then down to the docks. Along the prom, with hopefully some good views of the Liverpool river front. On through Festival Garden park and on to Sefton Park. Taking a route through the park and its sights and then on to Princes Park, taking us again through Toxteth and then back on towards the University along the famous Hope Street and past the Metropolitan Cathedral. Parts of the ride do go on the roads that can be busy, as well as the cycle/pedestrian routes.
