Viewtube Common cafe at 0830, The Greenway, Marshgate Lane.

Nearest station is Pudding Mill Lane DLR, about 500m walk. Cross over and turn left on pedestrian footpath leading to a slope leading to the Greenway and a globe at the top. Viewtube studios are on the right. Alternatively Stratford underground - head to the London Stadium, cross over the South Lawn. This is for experienced riders who have cycling skills and able to maintain a steady pace. It is a social ride so no one's left behind but we will ride together - enjoying the scenery and natural paths on south Thames as well as route and from Newham Docklands via Woolwich Ferry/Foot Tunnel (The Ferry is to be de-commisioned in this September after 55 years!) Anyone wishing to finish at Woolwich or after Erith there and back to Woolwich may do do. Rest of the group if they can continue to Greenwich, then that will be the next point for DLR (those leaving or picking up). Here the chance to continue to Tower Hill opens up via south Thames Paths and quiet routes, then CS3 / 2 return to Stratford.

Make sure your bike is in good working order ready for your ride. You should carry a spare inner tube, pump and any other tools needed to remove your wheel, just in case you’re unlucky enough to get a puncture along the way.

Don’t forget to bring snacks, water and appropriate clothing for the weather on the day. Bring adequate sun protection and any medication you may require for the day. Some money to purchase at any of the stops or Oystercard for onward journey.
