Breeze Longer - Magnificent Seven Cemeteries and Swaines lane on route

This is an longer ride around London, with the aim of seeing the "Magificent Seven" cemetries and lots of different areas of London on the way. Please bring a packed lunch and snacks although time permitting we will stop for lunch/tea and cake on the way. There will be a couple of loo stops too. We will go through the park and begin with Brompton cemetery, then wind up through kensington and Notting Hill to Kensal Rise Cemetery. The next stop will be Highgate Cemetry, and the infamous Swaines Lane!! (walking is fine, we will wait at the top). Then a wonderful downhill with great views as we cross archway and use an old railway line link (can be a little muddy), to go East towards Finchley Stoke Newington. Aubrey Cemetery and then through Victoria Park to Tower Hamlets Cemetrey. We will then use the canal and superhighway to cross Tower Bridge, and off to Norbury cemetery, with its impressive chapel. We will finish with Norwood which has some amazing graves, and then back via Tooting Common to Clapham. We will never be more than an hour from the start point, so depending on the pace, we will return back to Clapham Common by 3pm. We may not be able to cover all seven in one day, but that leaves us more for next time. You should be comfortable on the roads although we will endevour to take the quieter routes and go through parks and shared paths where possible. Not very thin tyres, but comfortable to go on slightly muddy path for a short section.
