Breeze Ladies Loop to Chiseldon

This ride to Chiseldon follows a quiet route through Coate Water Country Park from the County Ground. The route is suitable for all abilities, following mainly cycle paths and quiet country roads. We’ll meet at the County Ground Car Park (next to the famous Magic Roundabout!) in Swindon for a warm up and a quick bike check. Then we’ll head out to Coate Water along mainly traffic-free cycle paths.We'll do a loop up to Chiseldon and then come back into town via quiet country lanes and then cycle paths alongside Queens Drive. This is a gentle 11 mile ride on a mostly flat and traffic free route. There are a couple of short hills on the ride as well as a short section of rough surfaced path. The pace will be steady and we never leave anyone behind. Newcomers are always made very welcome. It’s a good idea to bring some water and you may also want to bring a snack if you think your energy levels may need topping up along the way. Wearing a helmet is advisable, though not essential.
