Breeze joins the MK Mayor on her final ride as Mayor - wear flowers.

Marie Bradburn started her term in May 2024 and committed to be a Cycling Mayor.

In her term, she has done so much for promoting cycling in Milton Keynes. She's visited schools, community groups turning up on her bike, and being a great role model.

Marie set up the Festival of Cycling at end of March and has been on our International Women's Day rides in 2024 and this year.

As a thank you to Marie and all she has done for cycling, Cycling Citizens are holding a thank you final ride, this will be a flower ride (some of you may remember last year's). You can wear your own flowers or pay £2 to purchase some from the organisers - link posted below.

Clare will lead a short redway ride (and some gravel paths) from Lodge Lake up to the City Centre where we will join the main ride with others to the Light Pyramid and then Clare will lead riders back to the start point.

This is an easy gentle, social ride on what we hope will be a lovely Spring afternoon.

The whole ride is around 8 miles.
