Bulls Head, Longsight Road, Greenmount.

A beginners nightride route on well lit mostly quiet residential roads and cycle paths with some main roads and junctions included. We go from the Bulls Head and follow National route 6 towards Longsight Road, then across into Summerseat Lane, down into Summerseat towards the waterside Pub site, then around Pollards Lane into Rowlands Road and under the railway bridge into Railway Street, past the garden centre and back up Summerseat Hill until you gladly break off towards Hamers Pub, hen through the estate to Newcombe Road, back to Longsight Road back towards Bury. Turning into Sprigside and around the estate there, back onto Brandlesholme Road for a short way, then left into Trimmingham Drive, through the estate towards Woodhill Road and then veering back towards Bury Town Centre and the Police Station on cycle paths, then towards the Leisure Centre, across past the old Police Sation then through the underpass towards the courts. Around to Bolton Road and a right towards Aldi, up Wood Street. We then take a right to cut across to Walshaw Road and the junction with Brandlesholme Road. Low grade climb up to Brandle Avenue on the left and a skirt around the estate there towards Throstle Grove and Birks Drive. Then we land back at the upper end of Brandlesholme Road, bear left back to he Bulls Head. Please ensure you have working lights and wear reflective clothing. if you need a reflective jacket, please contact us and we can bring a spare for you.
