A Breeze into the Forest ride, aimed especially at women wanting to have a go at some of the single-tracks in the Forest of Dean. The ride will be approx. 10km.

This is a social ride for women - whether new or wanting to return to off-road cycling or just after a ride amongst the trees with other women. The route is a mix of gravel fire roads and designated single-track trails. All the single-track sections are non-technical and a perfect starting point to mountain biking.

This is a gentle ride and we will pause regularly for a drink, a chat and to catch our breath! We will also stop as suitable to look at the different features on the single-track sections. There are some hill sections but we will go up steadily and at the pace suitable for all, and we do the same when heading down. At the end, there is an opportunity for another stop at the Pedalabikeaway cafe for some great coffee and cakes.

Bring your own bike. This ride is suitable for bikes with off-road tyres (wide and knobbly) and please make sure your bike is in good condition. Helmets are mandatory and gloves would be recommended. Dress suitably for the weather, remembering that spring mornings can still be chilly, especially amongst the trees. And whatever the forecast, pack a waterproof coat too!
