This is a mostly flat 20 mile ride from Finchampstead to the picturesque village of Sonning. We will have some lovely lake and riverside views and some pretty cottages to look at. This will be a steady paced ride.
Much of the ride is on lanes and cycle tracks with a couple of busier sections and some lakeside and riverside gravel paths - these are not suitable for very skinny road tyres.
We are stopping for coffee at the half way point at the Coppa Club next to Sonning Bridge which is a great venue.
Please wear a helmet, dress in layers and bring a rain jacket just in case, bring some money for coffee and maybe a snack and a padlock for your bike. Don't forget to check your bike and tyres before setting out.
