Breeze Exeter to Powderham Loop

Join me on a cycle from Exeter to Powderham Farm Shop for morning coffee and cake, following the canal side cycle path much of the way there. We'll join the cycle path at Bridge Road, cycle past Turf Locks and Powderham Church, before cycling on the quiet road to the rear entrance of historic Powderham Castle and its lovely Farm Shop and Cafe. After refuelling in the cafe we'll retrace our journey for a mile or so to Powderham Church and then, instead of rejoining the cycle path, we'll return via quiet roads (with a couple of hills to get the legs and lungs working - this is Devon after all!) through Exminster and back onto the canal path to Bridge Road and our starting point. Suitable for anyone, even those who perhaps haven't been out on a bike for a while. You'll need some fitness as it isn't totally flat and we'll be cycling for 40 minutes or so before taking a break. We will stick together and regroup at the top of few hills on the return leg. Total round trip is around 16 miles, but much of it is flat and the scenery is stunning.
