Breeze Durham Spray Paints, which colour will the Country turn next?

Starting at County Hall we will cycle along traffic free trails to Witton Gilbert where we will stop to see the first mural. Then, after a steady climb on road up to Sacriston we will visit our second mural. We have one last cheeky climb up and over Daisy Hill with fantastic panoramic views of Gateshead and Durham on our way. We will arrive at our last mural of the ride at Edmondsley. From here it’s a lovely downhill stretch over Waldridge Fell and back along the cycle path next to the A167 then via Framwellgate to our starting point.

As always we can’t predict the weather so please dress suitably for the weather on the day.

In order for the ride to leave promptly, please be punctual so we can carry out bike checks, etc. prior to us setting off. Please check your bike is in good working condition before the day and bring a spare inner tube to fit your tyres. A drink and a helmet are also advised.

We will pause on the route to look at the paintings so please bring and drink and snack to keep you energised

Helmets are advised. Please bring working bike lights as this is an evening ride, just incase we are still out when the light is fading as it is getting later in the summer season.
