Baker Street station at the Baker Street exit, next to Boots the Chemist

This ride is to try out the new East-West Cycle Superhighway along the Embankment between Parliament Square and Tower Hill. The Embankment route is traffic-free, and there are views of the London Eye and other London sights. If you are coming from Harrow, we take the train to Baker Street and the train back from Aldgate. You can also join the ride at Baker Street and finish at Aldgate Station. To meet at 10, those coming from Harrow need to take the 9.30 from Pinner, or join it further down the line, e.g. Harrow on the Hill at 9.35. We shall cycle from Baker Street along quiet roads, then through Hyde Park, across Hyde Park Corner and down Constitution Hill and The Mall on segregated lanes, through Horse Guards Parade, and across Parliament Square on the new traffic-light controlled cycle route. We shall stop for refreshments, possibly in a Hyde Park cafe or near the Tower, as people prefer. Do join us! It's a great chance to see the sights and use a really attractive cycle route.
