Breeze do Tour De Penge!

The Annual Tour De Penge is one of Bromley Borough's biggest cycling events, and this year Breeze are taking part too! Join us for a family friendly bike ride from Penge to Greenwich. The pace will be easy so is suitable for beginners and occaissional riders. Please note there will be some on road sections. This is a large event and registration will begin at 10.00am, with the "Grand Depart" at 11.00am, riding en masse, with police escort from the Blean Grove side of Penge Recreation ground, along Maple Road and along Penge High Street - perfect for friends to cheer you on! We then ride along the waterlink way NCN 21 path to Greenwich where we will stop for a (BYO) picnic. There are places to get food at Greenwich but these can often be busy on ride day. We will then be riding back to Penge on the same route. Please note that due to the volume of traffic on this ride, and some roadworks, there are few sections where you may need to dismount and walk. This does not take away from the fun of the day, but speed freaks may wish to choose a differant ride! We look forward to seeing you there!
