Please meet at Fairholmes Visitor Centre approx 15 minutes before the ride start time, from where, after safety checks, we will set out on quiet tarmac roads to the Kings Tree. From there, we take cycle paths over moorland and through woodland to “slippery stones” and then begin to make our way back to the Visitor Centre around the far side of the dams via similar terrain. A small proportion of the paths are made up of loose stones, but can be ridden on a hydrid bike with off road tyres on sturdy wheels. This is a beautiful route, and we will stop to admire the views and take photographs.
