Breeze Derby - Gill’s version of Lumpy Lanes! World Peace Cafe

Starting at Parker’s Piece car park we go through the residential streets making our way to the Meadows and on to undulating lanes.

World Peace Cafe stop and then return to Parker’s Piece.

Variety of urban and rural streets and shared cycle paths. Some busy lights/junctions. Occasionally uneven surface.

Be prepared for the weather, bring tools, tube and money! Please wear a helmet.

Starting from Parker's Piece Car Park Chester Green we will ride out through Derby's suburbs to Mickleover Meadows (option to join the ride at Station Road / end of the Greenway car park, please message if this is your preferred option) and then onto the Lumpy Lanes eventually arriving at The World Peace Cafe for refreshments). Return journey along the Greenway, Radbourne Lane, Markeaton Lane and Broadway We will encounter the usual mixture of shared bike paths, country lanes, residential streets and busier roads. Helmets are advised - I will be wearing one. Please bring everything with you that you might need on the ride eg spares, tools, inner tube (in case you are the one that the flat gremlin chooses this week) extra clothing, snacks and drink, sharing is not encouraged.
