Breeze Derby. Darley Park to Swarkeston Garden Centre

A steady ride out to Swarkeston Garden Centre, revisiting one of our original routes. We start by taking the River Path along to Alvaston Park and then the Old Derby Canal Path to Chellaston. From here we wend our way past Rolls Royce and through Sinfin to the refreshment stop. Our return journey, after a short busier road section, follows the Canal Path and River Path back to Darley Park. All in all a fairly flat ride that we will take at a steady pace.

This ride follows the usual mixture of shared paths, low traffic lanes, roads on a housing estate and a couple of sections of busier main roads.

Helmets are advised - I will be wearing one. The Covid Bit - This ride will adhere to any social distancing requirements at all times, Please bring everything with you that you might need on the ride eg spares, tools, extra clothing, snacks a drink and card / money for the cafe, sharing is not encouraged. Please do not ride if you feel unwell, have Covid symptoms or have been advised to self-isolate. If you test positive after the ride, please let the ride leader know.
