Breeze Coastal Route and Railway Path

Leaving Pittencrieff Park in Dunfermline, we will head for Limekilns then follow the coastal route on quiet roads or cycle paths around the villages of Charleston, Crombie, Newmill, and Valleyfield until we get to Culross where we will stop at the cafe.
We will continue heading west to Kincardine, then turn towards Clackmannan where we will join the old railway line that takes us (traffic free) to Dunfermline on a paved surface.

A circular route on a mix of traffic free paths and quiet roads. A mixture of scenery from the banks of the River Forth to the woods and rural landscapes of the former Dunfermline to Alloa railway path.

This is a generally flat route on all tarmac roads and paths. Mostly the roads are quiet back roads but there are sections where the cycle paths run alongside, but separate to, the main road. The scenery is varied and interesting.

We will have a cafe stop in Culross. Please bring money for food and drinks. We will also stop as needed for riders to have their own drinks and snacks as we go.

Helmets and sunglasses/eye protection are recommended. Please bring layers as we will cool when we stop, and a waterproof in case of a shower. You will need money for food and drink at the cafe stop. Please ensure your bike is in good working order and come prepared with an inner tube and any bike specific tools.
