Breeze Christmas Jingle to St Albans

This ride takes us from Bushey to St Albans, to meet up with Breeze riders converging from all over Hertfordshire for a Christmas get-together. We can take the Overground train to Bushey arriving at 0857, or meet at Bushey station. This train comes from all points in Harrow such as South Kenton, Kenton, Harrow & Wealdstone and Headstone Lane so you can catch it where it suits you. We cycle along the Colne Valley on traffic-free paths and quiet roads to reach St Albans for 11am, in time for a festive drink with everyone at the Inn on the Park in Verulamium Park. We'll then cycle back the same way, or you can take the train from St Albans Abbey if you wish. It's 11 miles each way. Before you come please pump up your tyres, check your brakes work and the wheels spin smoothly. Helmets are optional but Santa hats, tinsel and other decoration are welcome! Don't forget water, money and an Oyster card. You can use Oyster on the Overground to Bushey but not on National Rail from St Albans to Watford Junction.
