Otley Cycle Fest Ride to Bolton Abbey Bring cash for refreshments, and a bike lock for securing your bike at the cafe. A special occasion today, as the Champions of Breeze Network Leeds join forces with Otley Cycle Club for the annual Festival of Cycling, which this year is to be held at Weston Lane Football Club in Otley. We leave the clubhouse at 9.15, and head out along the quiet rural backroads towards Bolton Abbey to take in one of the best rides in our area. We pass through the villages of Askwith and Nessfield, and will enjoy beautiful views in the stunning Wharfe Valley. On arrival at Bolton Abbey, having worked up a healthy appetite, we will hopefully be able to enjoy our cake and coffee sitting outside in some warm summer sunshine! Refueled, we retrace our steps back to Otley. Once back at the Weston Lane clubhouse, the Festival will continue all afternoon with a programme of family friendly cycling themed events, a bar and hot food. Festival details can be found here http://otleycycleclub.co.uk/festival.html and on twitter at @OtleyCycleFest or Otley Cycle Fest on Facebook.
