Breeze Beginner- Watford Cycle Hub to Lock 81

A circular ride to Lock 81 totally traffic free as we will be cycling along the Ebury Way there and back though depending upon participants may come back along canal towpath.
The Ebury Way follows the route of a disused railway track through trees, passing by gravel lakes, rivers and over the Grand Union Canal. This pleasant, flat, traffic free route allows you to fully appreciate your surroundings!
At Lock 81 we'll have the opportunity if people want a toilet or refreshment break or we can head back to Watford Cycle Hub for refreshments
Suitable for women who are new to cycling or want a gentle cycle ride

The Ebury Way is an old railway line which used to run from Watford to Rickmansworth

All traffic free

Potential refreshment stop at Lock 81 or when we return to Watford Cycle Hub

The wearing of helmets is recommended and money for refreshments along with a spare inner tube or two!
