The first Breeze Basingstoke rides of 2014 are approx 10 miles very steady pace and approx 15 miles steady both starting from Eastrop Park 10am Sunday 6th April. There is a car park at the start point plus also it is on a cycle path. Sign up on this page for the 10 mile option! All bike types are welcome on this route - it is all on quiet roads or cycle path. Here is the proposed route which is subject to change depending on the group, weather, and anything else that transpires on the day! http://www.goskyride.com/SCG/ViewRouteBlank?routeID=22205   We will leave Eastrop Park on the cycle path and head on quiet roads through Old Basing and towards Mapledurwell crossing the A30 at the traffic lights at Oliver's. We will loop round back towards Old Basing but head towards Pyotts Hill joining National Cycle Route 23 to stop at Barton's Mill/the Millstone for a drink and meet the 15 mile riders. We can talk about what routes/rides you want for 2014. We will then cycle back the short distance to Eastrop Park. The aim of this first ride is just to get going. There will be longer, shorter, faster, slower routes in the future so please do come along to talk to the leaders and other riders on the day. The pace will be very steady there is no dropping anyone and there will be a leader at the front and back of each group. We wait, we are social, and we don't lose anyone. If you really don't feel you are ready for this ride then do get in touch or come along just before 10am have a chat with us. If these rides are too slow/easy for you, come along anyway to support others and chat about what you might want to do. There will be a beginner programme after Easter.  Any queries or for more info please check us out on twitter @breezingstoke or www.facebook.com/breezingstoke or email us [email protected]. See you there! Lynn, Nicole, Ruth, and Sue, your leaders for the day!
