This route explores the outskirts of Warrington, passing through parks and using the Transpennie Way and Sankey Valley Canal. It is mainly off road with some small sections on minor roads.

The route uses pathways that are mostly gravel and in some places they are tarmac. Small sections of the route use minor roads and in some places the pathways could be muddy dependant on weather. All the pathways are wide and roads are fairly quite.

We will stop for refreshments at the Hayloft Cafe - before carrying on our circular route exploring Warrington. There are plenty of places to stop and rest along the way and this ride is of a fairly flat nature and good for those wanting to increase mileage or get back into cycling.

Helmets are advisable on this route, due to low branches and also sections being on the road. Please bring money for the cafe stop, any specialist tools you may need for your bike and an inner tube. Please do not worry about punctures as we are all able to help out. Please make sure your bring suitable waterproofs and a drink for the journey.

First-timers welcome!
