We head of on the Guildwheel in the direction of preston marina. Where the cyclepath meets blackpool road we cross onto Edith Rigby way and make our way to salwick. We then head to Treales where we turn onto Church road and make our wat to wharles then on to Inskip. we then turn to make our way to our coffee stop passing through Eaves and catforth and finally turning on to benson lane.
After our well earned break we head back along benson lane turn left onto catforth lane and the right onto School lane. We then head through Woodplumpton, lower bartle and onto lea where we pick darkinson lane . at the end of this lane we turn left onto Avice Pimblett way and then retrace our steps down Edith Rigby way to rejoin the guildwheel back to our starting point

We will aim for an average speed of 10-11 miles an hour.

This is a circular route around the quiet lanes north of Preston passing through small Hamlets and stopping halfway for coffee. All bikes are suitable for this terrain but must be in a road worthy condition.

There will be a mixture of cyclepaths and quiet country lanes.

we will stop at Roots cafe for coffee and can stop for a breather at other points along the way

Please bring some water, a snack and some money if you wish to purchase food or drink at the coffee stop. Be prepared for warm/ wet weather conditions. Riders are advised to wear a helmet and it is compulsory for those under 18 to wear a helmet. Please carry a spare inner tube and tools necessary to carry out a puncture repair Prior to the start of the ride there will be a short bike check and safety brief but please make sure that your bike is in working order before joining the ride.

We are a small friendly group of women who enjoy a social ride around the scenic lanes in the area and a friendly chat over coffee. We love to welcome new members and we never leave anyone behind.
