Breeze around Bishop Auckland

Breeze Durham has been asked to put this ride on as part of the Bishop Auckland Cycle Races taking place in the centre of Bishop Auckland on the evening of the 6th August. Our group will depart from the Start Line of the Race at 6.30 and cycle a 7 mile route around the grounds of Auckland Castle to Binchester. Please aim to arrive around 15 minutes early to allow the group to gatherand set off promptly. From Binchester we will cycle north on Long Lane before turning west on quiet roads to follow the River Wear back along the grounds of Auckland park and then back to the Town Square. This route is designed to be completed within the hour and is suitable for children who are confident. We will aim to rejoin the racing in the gap between Amateur and Elite Races This is a great opportunity to promote Breeze, join a short and beautiful ride, welcome new riders and children and come and witness some great bike racing right here in County Durham.
