Breeze along to Silchester

Parking at Risley Memorial Hall, post code RG7 1SD. Lovely 23 mile rural ride out from the Memorial Hall, mainly along quiet lanes taking in the villages of Mortimer, Silchester ( site of the Roman Silchester amphitheatre), Bramley and Stratefield Saye before looping back to the park. Coffee stop planned for the Bramley Bakery which even does bacon butties along side scones and cakes! The weather is set to be dry but at this time of year, nothing is ever certain so a waterproof along with the spare inner tube and pennies for refreshments is a good idea:). Temperatures are beginning to drop so ensure you have layers to take on and off as needed.
