This ride will be weather dependent, I will cancel if it looks like it will be too windy or rainy. Please arrive 15 mins before our ride so we can carry out bike checks etc.

This ride is suitable for all but the pace will be that of the slowest and is designed for those starting their cycling journey or returning to cycling and want traffic free.
We will be on traffic free paths and any roads will be very quiet and gentle.

This week we will be riding approximately 12 Miles on the pace of the slowest rider so that it will hopefully encourage those who have not signed up before to come and try. No speed is too slow, and this is NOT designed for the faster riders!

Please park considerately in the car park (opposite Yvonne's Cafe - there is additional free parking further along the road). Please note that there is a height barrier.

The Coffee stop is optional and this week we will be stopping in the middle of the ride at The Old Chapel
The route will take us across Hawarden Bridge, and then down the riverside path and across Saltney Ferry bridge. At this point we do cycle on a quiet road to the cafe but will take this slowly. We then return along the river and back to our start point.

We do have the option of going along the greenway to Blacon if riders would like. This requires us to do a short distance on the Sealand Road and will only be undertaken if everyone agrees!! It is an extra 2.5 miles.
