We leave the pavilion by the river and head along to frenchwood then loop back to the pavilion, climb up to Miller walk then make our way to the old cobbled bridge. Here we cross the river and cycle along the paths to Tram rd. We the ride up Tram road to Walton park where we find hennel Lane and and make our way to the River darwin. We then cycle back along the river ribble to the old rail way bridge and cross over to our start point.

This an gentle route ideal for those starting their cycling journey or returning after a long break.

we will be riding along cycle paths.

There are no planned coffee stops but we will stop for a breather along the way.

Please bring some water, a snack and some money if you wish to purchase food or drink at the coffee stop. Be prepared forwarm/ wet weather conditions. Riders are advised to wear a helmet and it is compulsory for those under 18 to wear a helmet. Please carry a spare inner tube and tools necessary to carry out a puncture repair Prior to the start of the ride there will be a short bike check and safety brief but please make sure that your bike is in working order before joining the ride.

This is small friendly group who enjoy cycling along the scenic paths of Preston and south Ribble. We never leave anyone behind
