Breeze along the Bridgewater Canal

This is a nice leisurely ride which wanders down the Bridgewater Canal from Leigh to Worsley.  We'll ride mainly canal towpath, NCN route and use part of the East Lancs cycle path. If we make it before the cafe closes we'll stop for a refreshment break in Worsley so please bring some money to buy something but also bring a drink and snacks for the journey. This ride is mainly flat and can get a bit muddy in places although much of the cycle path has been resurfaced recently so a lot less mud than previously!!. We always ride to a pace which suits everyone and have plenty stops to rest and chat!!
