Breeze along from Newport to Cowes the scenic cycle route

This is an evening ride, starting and finishing in Newport at the Quay Arts car park in Newport (PO30 5BW). The route will follow the Newport to Cowes cycle way on the outbound and inbound sections and is mostly flat, but with a few small undulations, mostly in Cowes. In Cowes itself, there will be a few short sections on roads but these will be kept to a minimum, where possible.
There will be the option to stop for refreshments and it is expected that this will be at the end of the ride.
Please bring some money for refreshments, a cycle lock to secure your cycle and ensure that your bike is fitted with lights, which are in full working order.

Please arrive at the Quay Arts car park at 18:15 (6:15pm) for pre ride checks, for an 18:30 (6:30pm) start to the ride, as the ride will depart promptly at that time.
