Starting from - There is no parking at the station, however there is plenty one the road that is alongside it. What three words location is shrug.amicably.boggles. It can get busy, both with visitors to the station, Silver Meadows and those accessing the lake, so please park with consideration. CA13 9YL

Next in our Ladies That Lunch series is a circular ride to a very special place - Bassenthwaite Lake Station, where we will be able to eat lunch on a train, but not just any train! Its the Orient Express from the movie, Murder on the Orient Express.
Mostly quiet back roads, although we will have to cross a busy main road at the beginning of the ride. In true Breeze style, this will be done with safety in mind.
No stops during the ride, other than to pause, take in the view and take some photos.
Remember that helmet! Keep an eye on the weather and dress accordingly. And remember that no cyclists wardrobe is ever complete without this season's must have accessory - a spare inner tube!
