Breeze 21 miles - Loafing About

Hello ladies, a 1.30pm meet by The Red Cow, Westfield Road. 21 miles. This route will be a mix of mostly quieter lanes and a few busy roads. We will head out towards Kimpton, Codicote and at Wheathampstead, we will stop at Loafing for coffee and something yummy. If the weather if good, we may walk our goodies along to The Crinkle Crankle Garden which is very near Loafing. This will be about 16 miles into the ride, so a well earned rest. We will then head back to The Red Cow via Nomansland. Ride is suitable for all bike types

There will be hills, no worries we always regroup at the top. :) Please do bring plenty to drink, some snacks and sun cream.

Please do check your emails and text messages before leaving, I may have to cancel the ride if it is not safe for us to ride. Fingers crossed :)

The important bits:

Do ensure your bike is in good working order and you have an emergency backup/taxi number to call on in case of issues.

Ride Related:
- check your bike the night before (Tyre pressure will go down when your bike has not been used or from use!)
- carry 2 spare inner tubes, tyre levers and correct pump
- Money for coffee/emergencies. Helmet (compulsory on ride-sorry!)
- Water and a snack, just in case
- Appropriate bright and warm clothing (Rain/Sun – hopefully the latter)
- Lights (not essential but a plus in winter)
