This will be a leisurely bike ride to Elvaston Castle. Women of ALL ABILITIES are welcome to join us, the ride is suitable for all types of roadworthy bikes. The PACE will be LEISURELY. For the summer you can bring your children but only those who are over 11 and can ride ths distance. We will leave the Navigation Inn and cycle along the towpath and a short stretch of road to Borrowash where we will continue along the riverside path to the cafe at the Castle our destination, where a tea-stop will be enjoyed with the option of their delicious scones! Our return journey will continue to be mainly traffic free, but will include a short road section. It’s a good idea to bring some water and a snack to keep you going and money for the stop at the cafe. Wearing a helmet is advisable; if you don’t have one please do not to worry you can still take part.    We really welcome newcomers to our rides; we will always ride at the pace of the slowest rider so no one is left behind.  For more information on other rides taking place, please see our Breeze network Derbyshire Facebook page or follow us on Twitter @BreezeDerby   Breeze are on a mission to spread the word about their rides, and need your help. If you introduce one friend who goes on to take part in a Breeze ride, you’ll receive a Breeze water bottle, introduce a second friend, you’ll be the proud owner of one of their swish Breeze Buffs, and introduce a third friend and Breeze will send you £15 of Love2Shop vouchers.
