A testing ride to Basingstoke and back, from Mettricks at Guildhall square and back.
From Mettricks at Guildhall Southampton, we head for Romsey, then on to Braishfield, and towards Winchester, via Hursley. From Winchester, we head for Alresford, then Wield, Ellisfield Green, Cliddesden, and Basingstoke. A stop for refreshments is followed by the return trip, taking in Fairleigh Wallop, Preston Candover, Alresford, Cheriton, Upham, Chilworth, and back to Mettricks Guildhall square. All timings ( except the start time) are approximate, the published route is intended as a guide only.
