Borsdane Wood and Cutacre Country Park

Starting from Leverhulme Park we head across Bolton to pick up the the Middlebrook Trail and then through the Golf Course turning Southwest to the A6. After crossing the A6 we travel through Borsdane Wood down to Hindley. South of Hindley we ride across Bickershaw Country Park to get onto the Bridgewater Canal at Pennington Marina. The Café stop is at Pennington Hall Park. Its then back onto the canal and across Leigh to get onto the Guided Busway to Tyldesley. The route back to Bolton includes a loop around Cutacre Country Park and the back down the Roe Green Line.

Please bring a helmet, spare inner tube and money for the cafe stop.

Mostly off road some of which can be very muddy this time of year. There are some busy road sections especially when crossing Bolton
