Bolton to Bury Breeze Ride (via Radcliffe)

This route extends the route from Bolton to Bradley Fold that goes along the old railway line. After a short section on road in Radcliffe, we rejoin an off-road track that takes us alongside the pretty Manchester Bolton Bury canal to Elton Reservoir. From there it is only a short distance to Bury town centre. Mainly off-road but with a little bit of road riding on fairly quiet roads. A stop for refreshments will be made in Bury before retracing out route back to Bolton. Best suited to hybrid and mountain bikes but do-able on a road bike (a few cobbles involved near the canal).
