Bolton is back on the map with this 'Tour de North East Bolton'.
We ride on various tracks and trails.
Some terrain uneven and maybe muddy, cobbles also feature when we visit the birthplace of Samuel Crompton.
There are also significant sections on main roads with some busy junctions . We'll tackle these together and noone gets left behind.
This ride is a real mixture of vistas that really are a delight.
The ride is classified as Challenging due to the elevation over 1200 ft and the general road conditions.
It is not suitable for road bikes or mtb.Some suspension would be helpful for the bumper bits.
We leave prompt so please leave plenty of time for your journey and aim to be ready 15 mins before for our bike check.
Helmets are compulsory and you'll need inner tubes,pump etc.
Have a way of getting home in case of mechanical failure.
We will have breaks along the way for a drink and to catch our breath and Morrisons at Harwood will be our cafe stop.
It won't be a fast ride 8 - 10 mph although downhills are another matter.
