Bolton Arena

This route is ideal for families and people looking to take their cycling a bit further. Using an off-road path, you start at Bolton Arena and head towards Horwich continuing on cycle paths behind Middlebrook Retail Park. Why not make time for a drink and a snack before turning around and retracing your steps back home.  Passing the former Horwich Locomotive works this route provides some interesting sites as well as an enjoyable ride.
