Starting point

DA7 4AA

Bexleyheath rail station (near the ticket office, on southern side).

Ride to Bluewater, via Crayford, Dartford and Darenth Park. Return via Swanscombe, Greenhithe, Joyce Green, (Dartford), (Slade Green) and Barnehurst, reaching Bexleyheath about 3pm; possibly earlier, depending on duration of stop at Bluewater. A good opportunity to learn a quiet (low traffic) route, using parts of NCN 1 and NCN 125 (National Cycle Network). Plus a short visit to Swanscombe Heritage Park http://www.swanscombeheritagepark.co.uk About 20 miles on tarmac, some long and gradual hills; always at an easy-going pace. Option to return by train from Greenhithe or Dartford, for anyone wanting a shorter ride.
