For red rides or part red, you will need to have some fitness, however, we will take regular breaks, and not leave anyone behind. These rides are for those who ride mountain bikes, have ridden some blue routes, not necessarily at Coed Y Brenin. Even though they are progression rides, anyone is welcome whether you have ridden red before or not.

There are technical sections eventually on the red trails, all of which can be rolled, but will include terrains such as loose stones/rock, mud, tree routes, small rock gardens and other technical features.
If you are unsure if this ride is for you, please get in touch.

You need to book a place ahead of joining the ride.

This ride series is designed to work on confidence on the trails. We will start with a route that will take in some blue and red trails (easier red trails), and then aim to progress. We will stop at times to work through features on the trails.

This will be a mountain bike series. We will ride a mix of forest trails, manmade trails, perhaps natural trails and quiet roads within the forest.

We never leave anyone behind and stop regularly to chat, or food breaks. At the end we finishing in the cafe for food and drink (please bring your own money)

WHAT TO BRING: - A bike in good working order & suitable for riding off road (hard tail or full suspension) You can hire mountain bikes at CyB https://www.beicsbrenin.co.uk/shop/bike-hire/ Please let them know that you are taking part in a Breeze ride for a small discount. - A helmet is compulsory for this ride - Full fingered gloves are essential.
