About the route
Starting point
Car park (free!) at Canal Fields, Berkhamsted. Meet by the wooden foot bridge over the canal.
We will head out of Berkamsted through Bourne End and around Hemel before climbing up to Redbourne. We will stop for coffee & cake at The Hub, Redbourne and will then start making our way back through Flamstead, Gaddesden Row, Potten End and back to the start.
This ride will be run at Blazing Blue pace, 9-11 mph, so you need to be a confiden cyclist, able to use gears and to ride in a group. There are a few hills to challenge you. Please make sure your bike is road worthy and that you bring spare inner tubes, pump and tyre leavers.
Please meet me at the car park at 9.15am, so we can leave promptly at 9.30am.
