About the route
Starting point
Rowland's Gill park. Car park / park shop. We meet at 0900 and leave 0915 prompt. We meet at this location this ride outside 'Joans Park Shop' and around the car park.
A ~40 mile bike ride. Roughly 90% off road taking in old rail lines such as the Derwent walk.
Just a reminder it is December so check the forecast and please do wear suitable clothing.
Please also being spare basics such as tubes/repair kits/pumps.
If you're riding to and from the ride we suggest lights as the days are at their shortest. Should be back for 2-3pm latest.
Our stop is in consett. There is a McDonald's KFC and supermarket there for refilling bottles etc.
