Blaenavon Station and Clydach Gorge

Much of our ride today is following the canal, on to the old Blaenavon railway route up to Blaenavon Station where there is a car/train/stalls event. From there around Garn lakes and on to the beautiful Clydach Gorge before returning home along the canal.

This is a canal and cycle path ride, no roads so is more suited to hybrid, mountain and gravel bikes

We plan to stop for coffee/cake at Blaenavon Station but in case it is really busy due to event please bring a snack and plenty of fluid with you, I Will do my best to find somewhere else for a quick stop.

New to group riding and maybe unsure well let me put you at ease. Everybody and every ability are more than welcome. We are all slighty bonkers, friendly and welcoming. And we don't go as fast as we can. We are a social group, enjoying open air, cycling, great scenery and the company of like minded people.
