Starting at Pontymoile we will ride the old railway line to Blaenavon and onto Brynmawr.
The route then goes through the Clydach Gorge onto Govilon where we join the canal back to Pontymoile.

Suitable for Gravel, CX, Hybrid, Mountain and e-bikes.
Ideally a bike with 35mm tyres and some tread.
This route can be done on a road bike, but there are a couple of short sections where wider tyres will help.

This majority of this route is off road following nation cycle paths on old railways and canals. There are a few short sections on backroads.

There will be a café stop at Goytre Warf.

A good pump, a spare inner tube and a small amount of cash for coffee stops are always a good idea. ●●● Helmets are mandatory...NO HELMET = NO RIDE. New to group riding and maybe unsure well let me put you at ease. Everybody and every ability are more than welcome. We are all slightly bonkers, friendly and welcoming. And we don't go as fast as we can. We are a social group, enjoying open air, cycling, great scenery and the company of like minded people.

We especially welcome newbies!
