taking in all the sights of Blackpool Prom , then we come inland from Cleveleys , through Thornton, a quick picture at the Red Marsh Windmill , before heading out over the Shard Bridge , and over towards Great Eccleston (dont forget your 20pence for the toll bridge !)

traffic free prom , and some A and B roads , some shale trails too

Great Eccleston ( coffee and cake type cafe /Chip shop cafe etc )

helmet , tubes , pump , suitable clothing for the conditions , some cash in case of mechanical failure and also food .

Please make sure you can do the distance at a 9/11 mph average pace .
